Two times a year, the Professional Photographers of America put a call out to professional photographers to share their knowledge and volunteer to teach classes to other professional photographers. This a great opportunity to get top notch education at a steal. If you register by September 29, classes are only $99! Classes range from business topics to mastering print competition.
I am so excited to be teaching a class for Super 1 Day, and this year I changed it up a bit. I usually teach a photography business course (since it’s my favorite!), but I also love to talk about off camera flash. For some reason, a lot of photographers are very apprehensive at using off camera flash. If you take the time to learn it, it is such an easy application and can take your images to the next level.
I will be discussing how to use speedlights, studio lights, and high sync speed all outdoors. Knowing how to use these applications in your photography will also open up your shooting times. You will no longer be at the mercy of the best time of day to shoot. With off camera flash, you can photograph at noon on a bright sunny day!
My class is on October 6 at my studio in Houston. We will be going over the basics as well as working hands on with the different types of off camera flash. The class is already almost full too, so don’t wait to sign up!
If you have any questions about the class or would like to register please let me know. You can find my class here. You are also welcome to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
