When you were just starting out in your business I’m sure you stalked other photographers in your same area… Don’t deny it. I did too. I’m sure you read countless About Pages and Contact Me pages only to see a lot of the same thing. I bet you thought that’s the way you were supposed to write it after you saw it over and over again. I thought that’s what I was supposed to do – write a dry, fact only, award listing page that says nothing about who you are and what you’re all about.
That may have been how it used to be done, but that is definitely not the way you should be doing it now. Now, we need to connect with our clients more than ever in order to set ourselves apart and draw in the right clients, which is impossible to do if you sound like every other photographer out there. So, having an about page that actually talks about you is key. That’s why this week’s episode is all about how to create an About Page that connects with your client.
This week’s episode is all about what you need to scrap and what you need to add in order to create an About Page that connects with your ideal client. I also have a little bonus download for you as well to help you create you own About Page. You can grab it below.
I hope you enjoy this episode, and if you need any help along the way just let me know. You can also post your About Page in The Creative’s Business Resource to get some feedback. If you aren’t already part of this great community you can ask to join here. Until next week!
