Adding Catchlights for Pets

adding a catchlight, photoshop, dog photography, pet photography education

One of the most important aspects of our images is the eyes.  You have to have light in the eyes in order to give your images life!  Sometimes lighting isn’t perfect, both natural and artificial, which means we may have to roll up our sleeves and work a little Photoshop magic.  Like any adjustment in Photoshop, there are a million different ways you can approach it.  Today, I’m going to share my favorite (and super simple) way to add back in a catchlight.

Check out the video and let me know what you think.  I would also love to hear any cool tips/tricks you have for adding a catchlight.
