One of the key editing techniques you need to have in your toolkit when you photograph dogs is how to remove a leash in post.  There are probably a million different ways you can remove a leash, and in today’s video I’m going to show you one of my favorite techniques.

Like I said, there are a million different ways you can approach this, and this one just happens to be one of my favorites.  If you have any tips you would like to share about how you remove leashes please leave a comment for me.

Also please don’t forget to subscribe to my YouTube Channel so you always get my videos.  I release a new video every two weeks on Tuesdays.  Just click here to go to my channel and subscribe!

Thanks for tuning in!

P.S. – Don’t forget to join my Facebook group, The Art of Pet Photography.  It’s a private Facebook group just for pet photographers to discuss all things pet photography from editing, working with animals, business, and anything else you might want a community and feedback on.

P.P.S. – Here are links to the leashes I mention in the video. The show lead is more for in studio, or at least at a location that is more contained. The retractable leash is for on location, and it is a heavy duty leash that can work for small, medium and large dogs.
