Retouching a black and white dog

retouching, post processing, pet photography tips, learn pet photography

July 3, 2018 by Kimberly Hartz Leave a Comment

Photographing a black and white dog can be very tricky because you don’t want to blow out the highlights and leave your blacks without detail.  I’m going to show you today how I post process an image of a black and white dog.  There are several things I do to make sure I don’t lose those precious details, and I’ll show you how I finish the image in Photoshop for a client.

I will say that making sure to get your images lit properly in camera is a HUGE help when you get to post processing.  If you have any questions about how I light in studio or work with a black and white dog please let me know.

Thanks for tuning in, and please be sure to subscribe to my channel so you don’t miss out on any videos!
