about kim
You know all the tricky strategic bits about business that don’t have anything to do with taking photos, but are fundamental to longevity and success?
That’s what I help you with.

Hi, I’m Kim Hartz, photographer, entrepreneur, consultant, mentor, speaker, and loving mama to two humans and two fur babies.
I help photographers find their niche, build their brand, and create the business of their dreams through my one on one business coaching and photography mentoring packages, workshops and online programs.
I’ve been in the photography business for seven years and my studio is one of the top performing home studios in the country. This is all down to hard work, the willingness to make changes, and to be on top of the numbers side of my business.
But it wasn’t always this way.
There was a time in my business when I was working crazy hours, travelling miles between jobs, and spending long hours in the studio retouching and editing images. There was very little time left for following up with clients, answering inquiries and keeping up with invoices – much less any time for family or a social life.
But even with my hectic schedule, I still wasn’t achieving anywhere near the progress (or profits) that I wanted to see in my business.
I was barely scraping by. It was starting to take its toll and I was heading for burn out.
It was at that point I knew I had to do something drastic! I’d worked too hard to see my business fail.
So I made the decision to turn things around.

If you want to build, brand or restructure your photography business, I can help you get there! I can also help you with lighting, workflow, outsourcing and more – all you have to do is get in touch!
Together, let’s build the photography business of your dreams.
Much Love
Kim xx
