Module Four
Working with Off
Camera Flash
Lesson one: Understanding Off Camera Flash
Off camera flash can be an invaluable tool in your photographers toolkit, and it's a lot easier than it seems. In this video I give you all of the steps that I take to get amazing images using off camera flash including how to balance the ambient lighting with the flash, which is key to making sure your images don't look flashy.
Lesson two: Equipment
There are several options when it comes to choosing your off camera flash equipment. In this video I go over the different options, the pros and cons of each, and how I've used each of these options in my own work.
Lesson three: Using OCF
In this video I share all the ways you can use off camera flash in your work, and how it can add to the work you currently do. You can choose whether you like it to look like a natural light image with a little pop, or if you prefer a more stylistic look with flash.
Lesson four: OCF on Location Shoot
In this video I go over the steps needed to accomplish off camera flash during an actual session. You will see straight out of camera images (sooc), and the finished images at the end of the video.
